Unique, endemic wildlife
Between Etosha National Park and the Skeleton Coast, Ohorongo is a 40,000-hectare reserve that is home to the vast array of wildlife, as well as endangered species such as black-faced impala, roan, and sable. The wildlife in Namibia does so by being resilient and adapting to temperature extremes and very low rainfall. Watching endemic wildlife in this environment is an entirely different experience to neighbouring countries – the landscape offers a backdrop that emphasises the magnificence of these species tenfold.

Ohorongo Private Game Reserve
Ohorongo Private Game Reserve is 300km north of Windhoek and can be easily accessed by road or air. There are two airstrips for charter flights in the reserve to cater most conveniently for guests arriving at either Ohorongo Safari Lodge or Ohorongo Tented Camp.
